@WORK’s Biometric Time Clock utilizes modern biometric technology in conjunction with other employee identifiers in order to provide total labor control. Biometrics eliminates “buddy punching” and the need for employee badges or time cards.

Only an employee who has the following criteria can clock in and out:

* Has been hired by @WORK and an employee master file created in the @WORK database;

* Has his or her fingerprint image scanned into the @WORK database system;

* Has a job assignment created in the @WORK system to work for the client company; and

* Has the knowledge of the last four digits of his or her social security number to clock in.

With these four employee requirements, the @WORK Biometric Time Clock can increase control of labor as well as provide real-time data as to who is working in the client’s facility.

In addition to controlling employee assignments and working hours, @WORK’s Biometric Time Clock provides real-time punch data that the client can view and edit from @WORK’s Job Mobility client access web interface system. Through this system, clients can view and edit daily hours for all @WORK employees as well as eliminate paper time sheets. The client supervisors never have to worry about turning in time sheets, calculating hours, or even wondering who showed up for work.
